Operations at Rotterdam
Rotterdam. Our Operating Heart.
Prinsenlaan 450, Rotterdam — the geographic and commercial centre of our global network. The Port of Rotterdam handles over 400 million tonnes of cargo annually, making it Europe's largest and most liquid energy hub. Our terminal occupies a strategic berth within the ARA (Antwerp–Rotterdam–Amsterdam) blending corridor, the defining price-discovery region for European petroleum.
Deep-water marine access accommodates very large crude carriers (VLCCs) and product tankers. Six dedicated jetties handle simultaneous multi-product operations. Pipeline interconnects to the Rotterdam refinery complex and the TAL (Trans Alpine Pipeline) give our clients unmatched redistribution optionality. Road, rail, and barge modes complete a full multi-modal logistics offer.

24/7 Multi-Product Operations
Rotterdam operates continuously. Our manifold flexibility permits concurrent loading and discharge across Jet A1, EN590, Virgin Fuel Oil D6, and multiple crude grades — with full product segregation guaranteed by dedicated tankage and hard-piped manifold circuits.
Pipeline interconnects reach major Rotterdam-area refineries directly, reducing truck movements for large-volume redistribution. The ARA pipeline network extends connectivity to Antwerp and Amsterdam storage clusters.
Vapour recovery systems are installed on all floating-roof tanks, meeting the Port of Rotterdam Authority emissions limits and contributing to our verified carbon-reduction programme.

Three Strategic Extensions.
Beyond Rotterdam, our network reaches three of the world's most consequential energy crossroads — Fujairah, Houston, and Jurong.
Fujairah
Status to be confirmedUnited Arab Emirates
Strategic position on the Arabian Sea outside the Strait of Hormuz. World-class bunkering and crude-blending hub serving Middle East and Indian Ocean flows.
- Outside the Strait of Hormuz — geopolitically resilient bunkering position
- World-class crude-blending hub serving Middle East and Indian Ocean flows
- Multi-product handling: crude, residuals, distillates, aviation fuel
- Direct access to key VLCC anchorage and lightering zones

Blue Gate operates one of Europe's most strategically positioned oil storage terminal networks. Our Rotterdam tank farm sits at the heart of the ARA corridor. Our Fujairah petroleum storage terminal provides crude oil storage capacity outside the Strait of Hormuz. Houston petroleum storage serves the US Gulf Coast. Jurong provides Asia-Pacific oil terminal access.
Why Four Terminals
Coverage Where Trade Happens.
Rotterdam
Europe's premier blending and redistribution centre. The ARA corridor is the reference-price market for European petroleum. Unmatched pipeline, marine, rail, and road connectivity.
Fujairah
Strategic risk diversification — outside the Strait of Hormuz. Serves growing Indian Ocean crude flows and Middle East product demand. World-class bunkering and blending infrastructure.
Houston
Americas refining and export epicentre. Direct pipeline access to US production basins. Marine infrastructure supporting both crude import and refined-product export to the Atlantic basin.
Jurong
Gateway to Asia-Pacific supply and bunkering. The Strait of Malacca carries over 40% of global seaborne trade. Jurong positions Blue Gate at the heart of Asian energy redistribution.
