Port of Rotterdam Tank Terminal

The port of Rotterdam is a very convenient choice for the supply and transit of crude oil in Europe. The crude oil in Rotterdam comes mainly from the Middle East and the North Sea region. Since the tank terminals are located directly on deep water and Rotterdam has no locks or tides, Rotterdam can accommodate even the largest oil tankers such as ULCCs and supertankers with a capacity of 500,000 DWT. Through an extensive network of pipelines, the crude oil is transported efficiently and safely to the refineries.

In Rotterdam, oil tankers unload crude oil at crude oil terminals in the Europoort and on the Maasvlakte. There, the oil is mixed to the specifications of the refineries, which is called blending. The crude oil terminals then pump the crude oil to the refineries through a network of pipelines. Half of it is transported to refineries of BP, ExxonMobil, Shell and Vitol in the port of Rotterdam. The other half is transported to refineries in Vlissingen, Antwerp and Germany. At the refineries, the crude oil is processed into various oil products, such as petrol, diesel, LPG, fuel oil and naphtha.

Jurong, Singapore

The Jurong terminal in Singapore serves as a vital hub for petroleum product storage and distribution in the Asia-Pacific region. With Singapore being one of the world’s largest trading and bunkering ports, our terminal here offers unrivaled connectivity to global markets and plays a key role in facilitating the energy trade in Asia.

JPTT is a liquid bulk terminal owned and operated by a joint venture between Jurong Port and Advario. Located in Jurong Port, the liquid bulk terminal is designed to store and handle clean petroleum products and petrochemicals. It has a total capacity of an estimated 580,000m³.
The tank terminal is well positioned for synergy building and operational efficiencies that would be seamlessly connected by pipelines and integrated into the petroleum and petrochemical network on Jurong Island. The dedicated terminal will cater for customers who wish to have limited sharing of systems with other customers, yet have access to trade with other players.

Our terminal in Houston, one of the largest energy hubs in the world, is crucial for petroleum product storage and distribution in North America. The Houston terminal is well-equipped to handle both inbound and outbound shipments of crude oil and refined products, serving the needs of refineries, chemical plants, and international markets.
